isntree Sunscreen Collection

isntree Hyaluronic Acid, Onion Newpair, Yam Root Milk Tone Up Sunscreen
isntree Hyaluronic Acid, Onion Newpair, Yam Root Milk Tone Up Sunscreen

Recently I received a set of 3 isntree sunscreens from Picky to test and review:

Hyaluronic Acid Daily Sun Gel SPF 30 PA+++

It features 10 types of Hyaluronic Acid and Beta-Glucan for a hydrating formula, as well as Niacinamide; plus soothing Sodium Palmitoyl Proline, Ectoin, Centella Asiatica, Nymphaea Alba Flower and Houttuynia Cordata Extracts; as well as Portulaca Oleracea Extract and Adenosine for anti-ageing effects.

This Sun Gel has a lightweight consistency that gently moisturises the skin without feeling greasy. It is fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin. It layers well with other products and does not irritate my skin.

Onion Newpair Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++

This non-comedogenic sunscreen is designed with blemish-prone skin in mind. It contains Onion Bulb Extract and Multi Vita Complex (Vitamins B3, B5, E and K) to soothe breakouts and to promote a brighter and even complexion.

It also contains mattifying Kaolin, collagen-stimulating Adenosine, soothing Allantoin and Glycoproteins to provide a blurring effect.

This sunscreen is lightweight and features a purple tint that blends seamlessly onto the skin to brighten it and neutralise yellow undertones. It doesn't feel heavy nor it caused any redness or breakouts. It also improves the look of texture and layers well with other products.

It is free from artificial fragrance however it does have a natural sweet scent that is not overpowering and does not linger.

Yam Root Milk Tone Up Sun Cream SPF 50 PA++++

This sunscreen features a foundation effect, non-drying finish and skin barrier protection, and is formulated with Andong Yam Root Extract plus 5% Panthenol to provide moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.

Other notable ingredients include Niacinamide, and Vegan Milk Complex (rice, bean and oats extracts) for a moisturising and firming effect; plus Hyaluronic Acid, Adenosine and Vitamin E.

It uses physical filters Zinc and Titanium Dioxide, which are known to leave a white cast. To avoid that, the product is tinted to provide a tone-up finish.

As I don't usually wear foundation I like to apply this sunscreen over a non-tinted one. Something that I really like about it is that it helps even out my skin tone while also filling out small to medium-sized pores which give the appearance of smoother looking skin,

The tone is a bit light for me however, only a small amount is needed for a brighter, more even look to the skin. It blends well and makes my skin look less oily. It would be nice to have this in more shades.

All 3 sunscreens feature the classic isntree leaf design on the front of the box and tube. I like the minimal-design and colour-coded packaging as it makes it quick and easy to identify which product you want to use.

They all come packaged in a recycled paper box made from discarded green tea and printed with soy ink which allows easier paper recycling.

Have you tried isntree sunscreens?

PURITO Deep Sea Droplet Serum + Water Cream

PURITO Deep Sea Droplet Serum + Water Cream

PURITO Deep Sea Droplet Serum + Water Cream

PURITO Deep Sea Droplet Serum + Water Cream

PURITO Deep Sea Droplet Serum + Water Cream

@skincarestationery PURITO haul featuring the Deep Sea Droplet Serum and Deep Sea Water Cream 🌊 #skincarehaul #asmrhaul #skincaretexture #peptides #purito #kbeauty #textureshot @PURITO @Picky | Kbeauty 💌 ♬ Sunshine - WIRA

A couple of weeks ago I received a couple of PURITO products from the Deep Sea range to test and review.

The PURITO Deep Sea Droplet Serum comes packaged in a white cardboard box, containing inside a sturdy clear plastic bottle with a light blue gradient label and a removable rounded cap. It uses a pump to dispense the product.

This serum is designed to hydrate and nourish the skin thanks to a Marine Complex and Snow Mushroom. With over 66% Deep Sea Water, Glycerin, Hydrolysed Glycosaminoglycans, Tremella Extract & Polysaccharides, plus Glasswort and Algae Extracts, this serum leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft.

It also features Ectoin and Allantoin to soothe, as well as Adenosine, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and Copper Tripeptide-1, which have anti-ageing properties.

It is recommended to use 2 to 3 pumps however, I find that 2 or even just one pump is enough for my whole face.

The Deep Sea Droplet Serum is a very lightweight and hydrating fragrance-free serum that does not irritate my skin. It layers well with other products and the nearly-invisible capsules dissolve easily on application, leaving no residue.

Would definitely recommend this serum if you are looking for a gentle, hydrating serum with peptides.

The PURITO Deep Sea Water Cream comes in a recycled cardboard box holding inside a large pharmaceutical-looking tube with a screw-on cap.

The cream is designed to provide deep hydration from the inside out and balance the skin's oil-water levels thanks to 60% Deep Sea Water and 2% Niacinamide, plus Sodium Hyaluronate. Other notable ingredients include soothing Panthenol, several Marine Extracts, Macadamia Seed Oil, Adenosine and Arginine.

This moisturiser appears to have a gel-cream texture, however, it is more occlusive thanks to silicones but does not feel heavy on my oily skin when applied.

The Deep Sea Water Cream is easy to dispense and apply; it is unscented and gentle on the skin. It moisturises well and layers well under sunscreen. It is comfortable to wear and has slight blurring properties.

The only thing I don't love is that the packaging doesn't match each other but it would not deter me from using or repurchasing these products.

I would love to see an eye cream with peptides in this range and also ceramides added into the current range.

HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotic

HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotic

A few months ago I was kindly gifted a couple of HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotic bottles.

This supplement claims to "nurture the gut and clear skin of non-cystic acne" thanks to 9 strains of bacteria plus konjac root for balanced gut health.

Full ingredient list:

Rice Dextrin, Amorphophallus Konjac Root Extract 200mg, 9 Strains Of Lactic Acid Bacteria (Bacillus Subtilis DE111, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Bacillus Coagulans, Lactobacillus Paracasei (Lpc-37), Lactobacillus Salivarius, Bifidobacterium Lactis (Bi-07), Bifidobacterium Lactis Bi-04), Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium Lactis (HN19)) 190mg, Capsule Material (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Pectin), Medium Chain Triglycerides.

The HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotic supplements are free from Milk, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Soy, Artificial Colors, Flavors and Preservatives.

Having acne-prone skin since I can remember (although not as bad as it used to be) I was very interested in seeing what this product could do for me.

I started taking them last month and after over 6 weeks I can certify that they do help prevent breakouts, as I have had only very few minimal ones and only 1 or 2 bigger ones over the last few weeks. Any rare breakouts I experienced also cleared quite quickly and left no marks on my skin.

It is recommended to take 2 capsules daily, which could be a struggle for me sometimes even though they are on the smaller side.

Something I did not love is that they do have an unpleasant smell to them (they are full of bacteria after all) but it was a bit unexpected and could be off-putting for some.

There has also been some slight bloating which I can't be sure if the capsules have caused, however if you are looking forward to an important event for which you would like to have clear skin then the HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotic are definitely worth a try.

Find the HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotic at Sephora and Cult Beauty.

Oral-B Densify Decay Control

Oral-B Densify Decay Control

Recently I received the Oral-B Densify Decay Control to test and review.

This toothpaste contains stannous fluoride in addition to sodium fluoride to reverse calcium loss while helping to prevent tooth decay and early stage-cavities.

To me it has an intense flavour reminiscent of the smell of a Margarita, however it is alcohol free.

It leaves my teeth feeling very clean and smooth. I like this product however, even though it should be used twice daily to achieve the claims previously mentioned I am a bit wary as there are cases showing stannous fluoride staining teeth so have been alternating it with other products to prevent this.

Another downside to this product is the price which is about 10 times more expensive than what I would usually like to pay for a toothpaste.

Other than that, Oral-B Densify Decay Control is a good quality toothpaste that I will continue to use with care.

You can get 50% off with code DENSIFYFIFTY on Boots until 31 August.

The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm

The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm
The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm

A few days ago I received the new Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm by The Inkey List.

This Plumping Lip Balm is "clinically proven to plump lips by up to 40% in 4 weeks" which sounds promising!

It contains:

  • 6% Tripeptide Complex (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38) to boost collagen production
  • Ultra Filling Spheres with Hyaluronic Acid for an instant plumping effect
  • A blend of Fatty Acids and Plant Oils to reduce TEWL, nourish and soften
Full ingredient list:
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Hydroxystearic/Linolenic/Oleic Polyglycerides, Glyceryl Rosinate, Theobroma Grandiflorum (Cupuaçu) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Candelilla Cera, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Orbignya Oleifera (Babassu) Seed Oil, Squalane, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Hydrogenated Olive Oil, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Behenate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil Unsaponifiables, Tribehenin, Sorbitan Isostearate, Tocopherol, Portulaca Pilosa Extract, Trihydroxystearin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Sucrose Cocoate, Brassica Alba Sprout Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Glucomannan.
The instructions do mention that it needs to be used daily, at least 3 times per day, however only a small amount is needed so it will still last a long time even with constant usage.

I've only been using it for 5 days and I believe I can feel some increase in the volume of my lips already when I press them together.

The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm leaves my lips feeling moisturised and looking smoother and supple instantly. It has a natural sheen and it is fragrance and colour free.

I would love to see tinted versions of this product and can't wait to compare my results in a few weeks time!

Nip + Fab Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Eye Patches & Concentrate 2%

Nip + Fab Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Eye Patches & Concentrate 2%

Nip + Fab Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Eye Patches & Concentrate 2%

On Saturday I received the Nip + Fab Hydrate Hyaluronic Acid Fix Extreme4 Concentrate 2% and the Jelly Eye Patches to test and review.

The Hyaluronic Acid Fix Extreme4 Concentrate Extreme 2% comes packaged in a roomy cardboard box featuring all the relevant information regarding usage and ingredients. The serum is secured inside with folded panels, the sandblasted glass bottle feels luxurious and matches the aquamarine shade of the box.

It contains 2% pure Hyaluronic Acid in high and low molecular weights, Tremella or Snow Mushroom, Polyglutamic Acid and 20% Glycerin.

It is fragrance free (but the smell is reminiscent of ballpoint pen ink) and features a stringy consistency, very much like snail mucin products, which I believe is due to the high concentration of Glycerin.

The Concentrate 2% has a slippery texture which when dried can feel tacky, however this sensation disappears once other products are layered over it.

It makes my skin look very glowy and it seems to improve texture as well, however it does make my skin feel a bit tight which I believe is due to the Hyaluronic Acid.

Overall, the Concentrate 2% is a nice hydrating serum to add glow to the skin.

The Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Jelly Eye Patches come in a slightly less luxurious plastic pot, however it is very sturdy and well made. Inside it features a stopper to avoid leakage and a set of tweezers to dispense the patches.

Like the Concentrate 2%, the Eye Patches also contain Hyaluronic Acid, Polyglutamic Acid, Tremella and Glycerin, plus Diamond Powder.

I had never used eye patches before so wasn't sure what to expect. The first time it was quite fiddly and hard to apply. The patches are also very delicate - I managed to rip one during my first application.

They feel very cooling and comfortable to wear thanks to the jelly texture, however and can slip down the face easily, so had to slide them up again every so often.

The Jelly Eye Patches are meant to be left on the skin for 10 to 30 minutes (instructions vary on the website and packaging).

Around 20 minutes seems to be enough time for the essence to absorb fully into the skin. After removing them my skin feels very soft and looks hydrated and smoother, which I like. It is also nice to know that the patches are biodegradable.

The Eye Patches, like the Concentrate 2%, are also unscented, but a petroleum or plastic smell is perceivable, however this fades quickly. The package contains 20 pairs and has a short PAO of 3 months.

The only thing I would change is the shape of the patches as I found them hard to get right under the inner corner of my eyes, which is where I needed the most hydration. I would get these again provided the shape was improved.

Overall a fun step to add into your skincare routine.

TIRTIR Cica Care Bubble Toner

TIRTIR Cica Care Bubble Toner

TIRTIR Cica Care Bubble Toner

Been recently using the TIRTIR Cica Care Bubble Toner* which is designed to be calming and strengthening for the skin.

It contains several beneficial skin ingredients, including Centella Asiatica Leaf Water; Extracts of Witch Hazel, Licorice Root, Camomile Flower Extract, Rosemary Leaf and Camellia Sinesis Leaf; as well as Panthenol, Allantoin, Probiotics and Cica Complex.

Because of the several moisturising and soothing ingredients it helps reduce redness and also hydrates my skin without irritating it.

The foaming format is also fun to use and very different to the usual liquid toners on the market.

The TIRTIR Cica Care Bubble Toner feels very refreshing on the skin, has a sweet citrus fragrance that doesn't linger and effectively hydrates while prepping the skin for the next step in your routine.

Recently I was kindly gifted the By Wishtrend Propolis Energy Calming Ampoule TMI Box from the YesStyle Influencer program.

The By Wishtrend Propolis Energy Calming Ampoule comes packaged in a bright yellow box and an elegant clear glass bottle with white accents. It is sealed for hygiene and has a PAO of 12 months.

This multi-tasking ampoule can help hydrate, add glow, provide antioxidant support, soothe and help improve breakouts by reducing bacteria on the skin.

All of this is thanks to ingredients like Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Propolis Extract, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Witch Hazel, Panthenol, Probiotics and Zinc PCA.

The texture is lightweight but not runny which makes it easy to apply. It immediately adds a glow to the skin and makes it feel very hydrated. It is also very easy to spread so only a small amount is needed. It leaves a non-tacky finish and it layers well under other products.

The Propolis Energy Calming Ampoule has a faint sweet scent that does not linger.

This TMI (or Tell More Information Box) comes with a lot of extra limited edition goodies to learn more about the product.

Included in this box are a poster, an informational booklet, samples of the Propolis Energy Boosting Essence & Propolis Energy Balancing Cream, a star-shaped enamel pin and the cutest glittery tape!

I really enjoyed this By Wishtrend TMI Box as it is a great way to get introduced to a product while learning more about its star ingredient.

Superdrug Heatless Curling Kit

Superdrug Heatless Curling Kit

Superdrug Heatless Curling Kit

I received the Superdrug Heatless Curling Kit to test and review.

This set comes with a curling rod, 2 scrunchies and a claw clip. To use just place the rod over the head and secure with the clip, then proceed to twist the hair around the rod away from the face on both sides, secure with the scrunchies at the bottom and remove the clip.

Ideally it should be left on for a couple of hours or overnight for best results.

I used it on damp hair which is what is recommended and my hair looked very frizzy afterwards (which it normally does after I wash it anyway) so using this kit will not help prevent it.

As I've never used a heatless curling kit before I found it a bit hard to wrap my hair around the rod as when taking a new section the previous one would be falling out. My hair is quite straight too so the top sections were sliding out after a while which led to a softer wave instead of curls.

After around 3 hours I removed the rod and even though it was my first time using the Superdrug Heatless Curling Kit and wasn't expecting great results, I was still happy with how my hair turned out: nice volume and soft curls with some waves too.

I did not apply any styling product afterwards so the curls didn't last very long but they can be easily made to last longer by using some hairspray.

The only thing I didn't love is that as all my hair weight was concentrated on a small section pressing at the top of my head it did end up giving me a mild headache.

The rod is flat at the top so it would also be nice to see a version that isn't to be able to wrap the top section of the hair around the centre of it. Adding some texture while keeping the same satin fabric on the rod could also help hair stay in place while wrapping it around.

Overall it is a nice way to achieve curls or waves without applying any heat on the hair (and without using electricity either).

Find the Superdrug Heatless Curling Kit online.

All Used Up #23

All Used Up #23

All Used Up #23

Welcome to a new instalment of the All Used Up series, the biggest one in a while! Clockwise from top left:

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule*: it is made from 100% Centella Asiatica Extract and it is designed to calm and hydrate the skin. The consisntency is very watery so it can be hard to avoid it running down your hands as you dispense it. This ampoule has no discernible smell and absorbs easily, leaving skin hydrated while soothing and reducing some redness. While there is nothing wrong with this product it's not one I would rush out to repurchase as it is quite basic and I like my serums to do more than just hydrate and soothe.

Nivea Rose & Almond Oil Care Shower: it has a sweet scent reminiscent of some sort of candy which I like but can be a bit cloying at times. Cleanses well and leaves skin very soft without drying it out or irritating it in the slightest. Would use it again.

Nacific Sun Essence UV Protection*: described as a "hydrating sun cream with a light texture", this sunscreen has a verified SPF50+ PA++++. It is very lightweight and melts into the skin beautifully, leaving no white cast or greasy feeling. It also smells of delicious candied oranges. I've only just used it up and am already missing it. Sometimes when trying a product I've never heard about I don't think much of it but this Sun Essence is one I would definitely repurchase. Full review here

3INA The 24H Pen Eyeliner in 900*: a very long lasting eyeliner pen with inky black pigments. The point is very fine so can create detailed likes but as it is also a bit long it can be a bit hard to control. It is great quality and I would use it again.

INC.redible You Glow Girl Iridescent Jelly in Cosmic Blur: a lightweight highlighter with soft shimmer. Got this for my birthday a couple of years ago and as we weren't going out much my makeup use decreased considerably. Only used it a couple of times and it has now sadly dried out but it was a beautiful iridescent semi translucent product that could be used on cheeks, eyes and more. Regret not using it more.

DHC Lip Cream*: a super nourishing lip balm that is non-tinted and unscented so ideal for even sensitive skin types. I love how it melts into the lips and deeply moisturises. If you need a lip product for every day or just for nights when you are using strong actives that can dry out the lips I would definitely recommend the DHC Lip Cream. Full review here

Nivea Cellular Phyto R Serum*: with 9% "caring complex + Phyto R" which uses Bidens Pilosa as a retinol alternative to help firm and even skin. It was a milky serum, quite moisturising thanks to the several oils in the formula, but the packaging lets it down as the pump was hard to use and would dispense nothing or too much, plus I was unable to get out the last bit of product from the bottom. It also suggests to use no more than 8 pumps a day (I didn't) which is a bit concerning so I'm unsure if I would use this again.

Sanex pH Balance Dermo Sensitive Anti Perspirant: one of my favourite deodorants as it's part of the very few that actually work for me. The roll on is a bit stiff but it is lightly fragranced, non-drying or irritating and super affordable so will always repurchase. I also like the aerosol version of this.

Have you tried any of these products?

Vichy 48h Anti Perspirant Treatment

Vichy 48h Anti Perspirant Treatment

The Vichy 48h Anti Perspirant Treatment* is designed for intense perspiration and contains a very minimal and ethanol-free list of only 7 ingredients which makes it ideal for sensitive skin types as there is less chance of irritation.

The synthetic fragrance is quite inoffensive, unisex and doesn't linger or clash with other fragrances or perfumes.

The packaging is sturdy and well made. The cap fits nicely in place and the roll on glides easily under the axilla without needing to use a lot of pressure like with other roll-on deodorants I have used.

Before using it I didn't have much faith in its claims however I was pleasantly surprised to find that it controls perspiration much better than the other deodorant I was using (Dove aerosol, if you must know), and with that any possible odour as well. Only a small amount is needed to achieve full effect.

The best part is that it provides long lasting protection so don't need to worry if you shower at different times each day, as you will still be protected against perspiration for more than just one day.

@skincarestationery Heimish skincare haul ✨ These products are lightweight, fresh and perfect for summer 🌞 Use code NAV2019 for money off your next YesStyle order @heimish_cosmetics @YesStyle @YesStyleInfluencers #YS23MidYearFavs #skincarehaul #kbeauty #heimish #yesstylehaul #asmrhaul #oilyskincareroutine ♬ Storytelling - Adriel
A couple of weeks ago I was kindly sent some products from Heimish to test and review:

Matcha Biome Redness Relief Hydrating Toner: this Watery Essence has a pH of 5.5 and is designed for calming & hydrating the skin.

The main ingredient is Green Tea extract, a great anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory that can help reduce redness. It also contains Sugarcane Extract, a natural source of AHA that adds hydration while gently exfoliating the skin; plus soothing probiotics.

This Toner is beautifully lightweight with almost instant absorption, it makes my skin feel so hydrated and moisturised that I could skip using a separate moisturiser afterwards without any problem. My skin is soothed and redness appears reduced.

It has a prominent, classically 'masculine' herbal scent which I really enjoy and is provided by the several natural extracts and oils including Lavender and Bitter Orange. The dark green bottle and weighted golden cap give it a luxurious look.

It is a toner I would highly recommend if you have oily skin like me and I would purchase it in the future.

Matcha Biome Oil-Free/Calming Gel Moisturizer: this moisturiser is designed to calm, hydrate and balance the skin using Green Tea Extract, Glycerin, Niacinamide and Centella Asiatica plus probiotics.

It has a light gel consistency that absorbs very quickly into the skin without stickiness or residue, leaving a soft matte look and a velvety feel to the skin. It gently moisturises and helps reduce redness.

This Gel Moisturiser has a faint sweet, fruity scent that doesn't linger. I find that a small pea sized amount is enough to cover my whole face so it is very cost-effective.

It layers well under sunscreen while retaining its mattifying properties although I felt a slightly bigger amount of sunscreen was needed due to the velvety texture finish making it a bit harder to spread.

Marine Care Eye Cream: this product has Anti-Wrinkle & Brightening properties delivered by the use of several Marine Extracts, Niacinamide, Edelweiss, Peptides and Adenosine.

It also contains Macadamia Seed Oil and Shea Butter to nourish however, it never feels heavy no matter how much I use thanks to its whipped texture, making it great for oily skin. The eye area is left lightly moisturised but for dry skin this may not be enough.

I like the sturdy packaging and love the tool it comes with, which has a handy scoop on one side and a cooling metallic massager on the other side - it feels so relaxing to use and it is ideal to reduce puffiness, especially during allergy season.

This Eye Cream has a fresh, oceanic scent which I enjoy, it's easy to spread and to layer other products on top. It also seems to have helped increase eye lash density which is a great bonus. Would definitely have it again.

Tiam Snail & Azulene Calming Sandwich

On the skincare menu today: the Tiam Calming Sandwich.

We can comfortably use active ingredients that may irritate the skin with peace of mind knowing that the Snail & Azulene range by Tiam will help prevent and soothe any irritation.

Start by using the Tiam Snail & Azulene Low pH Cleanser, to minimise skin irritation and dryness. With 7% Snail Secretion Filtrate and 50ppm Guaiazulene Sulfonate plus Allantoin and Panthenol.

This gentle cleanser has a gel-like consistency and lightly foams up to reveal clean, soft and supple skin that does not feel tight or dry. It is unscented so it's ideal for sensitive skin.

If using a leave on product like a serum, apply the Tiam Snail & Azulene Water Essence beforehand; if using a rinse-off product such as a mask, apply it afterwards. This Water Essence is designed to reduce skin sensitivity and redness thanks to 87% Snail Secretion Filtrate + 15ppm Guaiazulene Sulfonate.

This Essence also contains hydrating Beta Glucan and soothing Allantoin, Panthenol and Chamomile Flower Extract & Oil.

This Essence has a slightly viscous and stringy consistency so it can feel a bit slippery and tacky when applying but once absorbed such feeling disappears. I used it after The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and it helped hydrate my skin while preventing any sensitivity. This Essence features a sweet, floral scent which I like.

Finish with the Tiam Snail & Azulene Sleeping Mask, also designed to reduce sensitivity and redness thanks to 81.5% Snail Secretion Filtrate and 80ppm Guaiazulene Sulfonate.

It nourishes with Sunflower Seed Oil, plumps with Hyaluronic acid and also soothes with Allantoin, Panthenol and Chamomile Flower Oil.

This generously sized jar contains 80 ml of product. The Mask itself is actually very lightweight (ideal for oily skin) and features a stringy consistency. It needs to be massaged into the skin to ensure it is absorbed however, it moisturises well and leaves my skin feeling soft. Like the Essence, it has a sweet floral scent which I enjoy.

I have noticed a reduction in my skin's redness when using these products and will continue to use them as I appreciate the soothing properties they have. The beautiful chamomile scent and cute packaging are lovely extras that I also adore.

If you are an avid user of active ingredients in your skincare routine and are looking for products to soothe after using them, or even just after spending a day out in the sun, then I would definitely recommend trying the Tiam Snail & Azulene range.

Nivea Irresistibly Smooth Body Lotion Shea Butter

Nivea Irresistibly Smooth Body Lotion Shea Butter

This Nivea Irresistibly Smooth Body Lotion Shea Butter is designed for dry skin and promises 48 hours of indulging moisture thanks to the inclusion of Shea Butter and Deep Moisture Serum.

It has a lightweight texture that absorbs easily into the skin and also dries quite fast without stickiness, leaving skin feeling soft and velvety.

It is scented with a mild fragrance that is not overpowering and dissipates within a few minutes which is great as it avoids it clashing with any perfumes applied afterwards.

I love that it comes in a handy pump bottle for easy dispensing and has a lock mechanism to avoid spillage.

Overall, it is a nice moisturising lotion which I will continue to use and would have again. I would also like to try other products in this range.
