Who is Vinny the Pug?

Vinny was born in 2000 in Orlando, Florida, near Disneyworld. While he was still just a pup, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he learned how to climb a rock. After becoming proficient at climbing and posing atop that rock, he began learning how to climb other rocks and climbing quickly became his new hobby.

Zaful Review + Giveaway!

Hello everyone, today I would like to talk to you about an online shopping destination called Zaful. As I mentioned, they are a website where you can find pretty much everything, from clothes to shoes, jewellery to handbags, print bikinis and even beauty items, all for a really affordable price, plus they have free delivery on orders over $30 which is very convenient.

I first found out about Zaful when they contacted me about 6 months ago to do a collaboration with them, where they would send me some products so I could try them out and then write about them on my blog. (You can find more about the products I've received here.)

When I visited the website I noticed that the menu is divided in categories, such as dresses, tops, bottoms, shoes and accessories, as well as a New category right in front of all the others, which is quite helpful if you want to know what new trendy items have landed on the Zaful website and are available to purchase. Speaking of trendy, don't forget to check out the high waist bikinis at Zaful. 

My favourite section would have to be the Bags, as they have so many to choose from and in a great variety of styles, perfect to fit any mood and occasion you can think of. Some sections, like the jewellery one, have so many items (over 1000) which can be a bit overwhelming but if you select a sub-category it makes it easier for you to find what you are looking for. 

Recently they started a section called Z-Me, which is a community where the members can share their pictures wearing Zaful and it's a great way to find inspiration to create new looks and outfits. Reading | Black Ice + Giveaway

Black Ice tells the story of Britt Pfeiffer, who is a girl that usually relies on the men in her life to come and rescue her whenever she is in trouble. On a holiday break, she convinces her best friend Korbie to come with her on a trekking trip in order to impress her ex-boyfriend. 

As they are on their way to Korbie's family cabin in the mountains, a snow storm leaves them stranded and they have to look for somewhere to stay until the storm has passed. When they find a cabin with 2 young men inside, they think they're in luck but are they really? One of the guys wasn't keen on letting them in the cabin and later we find out that they are actually stranded as well and looking for a way out of the mountains, where they are hiding for some reason they won't tell. There have been a few murders in the area recently, could they be the killers?

The girls realise this is serious and in order to stay alive Britt must guide them off the snowy and cold mountains. As tension builds, Britt has to find a way to escape while she hopes her ex-boyfriend will come in her rescue when he finds out they didn't make it to Korbie's cabin. 

A really entertaining and mysterious novel with many unexpected plot twists, Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick* makes a great holiday read. It's a book that I enjoyed reading but it did leave me with a couple of questions (spoilers in the next couple of lines) such as why Lauren and Jude had different last names, what happened to Bear, and why did Britt wait so long to contact Jude if she couldn't get over him?

#IceColdAdventures and £250 Voucher Giveaway with Berghaus

As much as I get cold with the slightest temperature drop, I would love to go skiing one day just to experience it. University Choices & Giveaway with the University of Greenwich

This month hundreds of young people are going to have to make one of their most important decisions: what university to go to. It can be a very hard decision as there is so much information out there.

Personally I knew I wanted to go into Architecture since I was younger, but the choice wasn't too hard for me, as my high school was part of the same university system I attended, so I had an automatic pass and was lucky enough to obtain a good scholarship. Even though some of my friends went into the same university, none of them went into the same field so I didn't have many friends at first but soon met lots of people. Also as it was in the neighbouring city, I stayed at home during my studies and could get to my university by public transport. 

When you are selecting your home away from home for the next few years you want to consider a university that offers the courses that you are definitely interested in taking - it's not worth enrolling for a degree you don't like as this is your life choice and what you will most probably spend your time doing after you graduate. 

Also look for any extra curricular activities that might interest you, such as book clubs, sports clubs or any other kind of activity that you enjoy and where you can meet people with similar interests to yours. 

If your choice is far from home, make sure that you know and like where you will be staying, be it student dorms or a shared flat and that if it's the latter, that you live in a neighbouring area to the university for easier access. And also consider distance from your home in case you want to visit your family on holidays or long weekends. 

Something that might make you reconsider your choice is if your friends are going as well, and while it might be scary starting over and knowing no-one, this shouldn't be a definitive factor on your choice of university or career.

Rather than worrying about where your friends are going, take a look at the university's environment, is it a big university that's diverse, fast paced and has lots of choice or is it a smaller one or college where most people are familiar with each other?

And last but not least consider your financial options: do you have the possibility of obtaining a scholarship that will alleviate your payments or do you need to take out a loan and how will you be paying it back?
