As part of Style Korean's Try Me Review Me program I received a set of plant based beauty products:

Melixir Vegan Balancing Toner: to balance pH and hydrate the skin thanks to Green Tea, which is rich in antioxidants. I like that it is microbiome friendly and has a lightweight texture. It absorbs easily into the skin and hydrates it. It has a mild black tea scent. 

Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence: I've wanted to try this product for some time so was very excited to test it. It is formulated to refine and hydrate the skin with Kombucha (or fermented black tea), plus moisturising Ceramides and soothing Centella Extract. It has a light, milky texture that is easy to mix and it is fragrance free. Leaves my skin feeling moisturised and soft. Love the packaging. 

Mary & May Vegan Peptide Bakuchiol Sun Stick: provides SPF 50++++ and has anti-ageing properties with 25 types of Peptides and 1% Bakuchiol. It has a velvety finish on the skin which gives it a semi matte look. It is a convenient way of reapplying sunscreen on the go. It is strongly fragranced with a floral scent but it fades after a while.

Frudia Green Grape Pore Control Cream: it uses 81% Green Grape Juice instead of water to hydrate the skin, control sebum and reduce enlarged pores. It also contains exfoliating Papain for a smooth complexion. It has a lightweight gel consistency that glides on the skin and absorbs quickly. My skin looks matte and pores look less noticeable instantly. It is non-sticky and it does hydrate and control oil as it promises. Love the cute jam-jar packaging. It is also heavily fragranced.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Lip Sorbet

Bourjois has kindly sent me a set of their new Healthy Mix Lip Sorbet Tinted Lip Balms which are an easy way to achieve all day hydration with a hint of tint, or an opaque finish if you prefer as they are buildable!

Infused with Castor & Coconut Oils, Shea Butter, plus Vitamins C and E, they leave my lips feeling super soft and moisturised.

My favourite lip combination is the Lip Sorbet in Peanude Butter with the Levres Contour Edition Lip Liner in Nude Wave.

I received the Nyx Eyebrow Glue product from the NYX Community. 

This Eyebrow gel has a small spoolie that tidies brows nicely. It effectively holds brows in place all day and has a clear finish, so does not leave any residue.

Cosmic EDP by Kylie Jenner

I received the Cosmic EDP by Kylie Jenner from the Superdrug Community.

Cosmic is packaged in a purple cardboard box with metallic accents and the glass bottle features a sculptural and tactile organic shape which I like. The bottle is topped off with a weighted metallic round lid.

It features the following notes:

• Top: Star Jasmine & Blood Orange
• Heart: Golden Amber Accord & Red Peony Accord
• Base: Vanilla Musk Accord & Cedarwood

It opens with a non-overpowering sweet, fruity burst which I enjoy, then turns into a warm floral symphony with the Red Peony being quite noticeable. Finally it settles into a woody, creamy base where the Vanilla Musk is the star, Cedarwood not being very perceivable on my skin.

Overall Cosmic EDP is a nice daytime fragrance for the warmer months. It would be classified as a skin-scent due to the subtle nature of the notes and the lower sillage.

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of musk in perfumery, in this fragrance it is very subtle so I quite enjoy this perfume and would recommend Cosmic if you are looking for a warm, sweet and creamy daytime scent for spring and summer.

Lancôme Idôle l'Eau de Toilette

I received the Lancôme Idôle l'Eau de Toilette from the Lancôme Community to test and review. 

This new addition to the Idôle fragrance family features the iconic tall glass bottle with a rose gold frame and lid, with the brand's name debossed at the top. 

 Lancôme Idôle l'Eau de Toilette comprises the following notes

• Top: Calabrian Bergamot
• Middle: Sencha Tea Accord
• Base: Duo of Roses

It opens with a fruity citrus Calabrian Bergamot scent which allows through the fresh Sencha Tea Accord , which finally evolves and settles into a sweet, warm and delicate Duo of Roses.   

I love rose fragrances so I am loving the Lancôme Idôle l'Eau de Toilette. It is an EDT so wears off after a couple of hours but I do not mind reapplying if I need to. 

This light fragrance is a great choice for summer as it is fresh, and not overpowering. A must have fragrance for rose fans!
