A couple of weeks ago we went to a small town in Kent called Sandwich. I wasn't expecting much as it seemed like a very small town on the map but it's actually a medieval town so all the buildings have a lot of character.
For lunch I had an egg sandwich (I had to) in that shop from the first picture. They use fresh local ingredients and it was really nice.
There is a river nearby and a few charity shops scattered around the blocks framed by tiny streets with names such as No Name Street and Short Street. A charming town indeed.
