Recently I was kindly sent the Superdrug Edit Revolution Advent Calendar 2023, which varies slightly from the version Revolution sells on their own website. 

This was my first ever Beauty Advent Calendar so was very excited to try it! 

While the outer packaging does show what the contents inside are, you still don't know exactly what you will find inside each box so it's still thrilling to open each one.

It contains 3 Lip Liners, 1 Eye Liner, 1 Brow Pencil, 2 Jelly Glosses, 2 Lip Glosses, 1 Lip Oil, Tweezers, Mirror, Mini Sponge, Powder Puff, 3 Brushes, Eyebrow Gel, Shadow Palette, Primer, 2 Liquid Blushes, Finishing Powder, Highlighter and Contour Powder.

It is a great way to start your makeup journey as it contains so many varied products that can allow experimenting with your look.

The Revolution Advent Calendar is amazing value as all products inside (except the finishing powder) are full size. 

It would be great to see an alternative version featuring darker shades and also a leaflet inside with product ingredients instead of having them on the outer packaging as once opened, the box will get discarded and it is also hard to read due to the reflective finish of the packaging. Also be aware some of the shades in the palette are meant for face use and not the eye area.

If you are looking for an affordable beauty advent calendar full of makeup goodies I would definitely recommend the Revolution Superdrug Edit Advent Calendar!
