Recently I got contacted to select and review a perfume from The Library of Fragrance. Demeter Fragrance Library is a New York based perfumery that launched this month in the UK as The Library of Fragrance, consisting of a collection of 101 different options on their website and a capsule collection of 28 available in Boots. Their fragrances are meant to capture real and familiar scents that surround us every day such as Cherry Blossom, Gingerbread, Pure Soap and Vanilla Ice Cream.
It was hard to choose just one scent to try out of the 101 options, but I went for Chocolate Chip Cookie*, only beating Cherry Blossom and Apple Pie. Chocolate Chip Cookie smells exactly like that, upon first spritz it evokes the sight of freshly baked, still warm and straight out of the oven cookies. With hints of dark chocolate, sugar, creamy butter and vanilla, Chocolate Chip Cookie smells amazing and might leave you craving the delicious, warm cookies it just made you think are being baked in the kitchen.
With The Library of Fragrance you can also create your own bespoke scent by mixing and matching different ones, and they're currently on offer in Boots with 2 x £25.
Take your pick on The Library of Fragrance and Boots websites.
