For some people, work activities are being resumed, but others will continue working from home, including of course, the people that normally call home their office being freelancers. So, many of us know that, on one side, it is not feasible to get completely dressed up every single day in formal trousers and a jacket if you are not even going to leave the house and will be from home working all day, but on the other hand it can be very helpful to have an outfit change to signal your brain that it is time for work and not just laying in bed watching movies (or whatever it is you do on your spare time while wearing your pjs).
So instead of going to either end of the spectrum some people might opt for something in between the rigidity of formal-wear and the comfortable casualness of pyjamas - which is where loungewear comes in.
Loungewear allows you to feel like you have made some kind of an effort without going overboard and makes you feel in the mindset to start on your work day, while also making you completely ready to step out of the house any second should you need to run some errands.
The lovely people at Femme Luxe kindly sent me a couple of their loungewear sets, which I'm wearing in the pictures above.
The grey one that I'm wearing in the first and third pictures is the Jinell Long Sleeve Loungewear Set, which has a medium thick fabric that is very comfortable, with the joggers being high waisted, they include two front pockets, a decorative ribbon and are cuffed at the ankles. The long sleeves on the top are also cuffed and it features a slightly higher neckline which gives it a different look to your classic sweatshirt.
The beige loungewear set that I'm wearing on the second and fourth pictures is the Maria Loungewear Tracksuit Set, which also features cuffing on the sleeves and legs, and a decorative ribbon on the waistband, as well as functional pockets. The neckline on the top is a bit larger than on the grey set and the fabric is more lightweight and stretchy. I could definitely see myself wearing this set on a long haul flight - I probably will when the next chance I get to visit my family in Mexico.
And last but not least, I also got a couple of T-shirts, which could definitely be mixed and matched with the loungewear sets or even with just the joggers. The Rivka "California" Print T-shirt is available in blue and in coral, and since I couldn't decide which colour to go for, I got both haha!
The Rivka T-shirt is made of pure cotton and is very comfortable and breathable. It features a big palm tree print, short sleeves and a raw hem while also being slightly cropped, but not so much that it couldn't be tucked into high waisted trousers, joggers or jeans.
Also worn in the pictures are my Black Puffer Bag from Primark, Topshop Leigh Jeans, Elie Tahari Cat Eye Sunglasses, Clarks Chelsea Boots and Fila Disruptor II Heart Trainers.
