MUA Makeup Haul

Last week I received a MUA mailer, including the Brow Gel XL, Pro Base Fix Grip Primer and the whole range of Hydra-Juice Peptide Lip Balms.

MUA Brow Gel XL

Designed to provide strong hold, this brow gel comes with a handy built-in brush and comb under the cap for pre or post styling and it could even double as an eyelash comb. I also like the lightweight, off-white matte tube packaging. 

The brow gel is clear so suitable for all hair colours, and the applicator brush features shorter and longer bristles to adapt to denser areas as needed. 

This brow gel definitely provides very good hold as my brows stay in place all day with barely any movement, which is great compared to other brow gels I’ve used, where just my hair brushing my face would move my eyebrows out of place. 

Hydra-Juice Peptide Lip Balm

Formulated with Vitamin E, Lactic Acid and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, to nourish, lightly exfoliate, hydrate and help increase collagen production.

Available in 6 shades:

• Coconut Sugar: clear and versatile, with a delicious coconut scent
• Caramel Glaze: has a light pink-nude tint and a sweet vanilla-caramel scent
• Heartfelt Hun: has a warmer and darker tone than Caramel Glaze and a sweet, floral scent 
• Watermelon Sorbet: with a pink shade and a fresh watermelon scent
• Berry Bliss: has a dark pink hue and a sweet, fruity fragrance 
• Cherry Kiss: features a dark berry shade and a sweet cherry scent

My favourite shades are Cherry and Watermelon. Coconut too as it smells amazing!

I love that these lip balms contain peptides and are so affordable. They moisturise nicely and add a hint of colour that lightly stains the lips. 

Pro Base Fix Grip Primer

Comes in a clear, frosted plastic tube with an airless pump dispenser. It has a light, gel consistency, a sweet, fruity scent and a pink tint to it that goes clear once applied to the skin. 

This primer is infused with Rosa Rugosa Flower Water, Apricot Extract, Vitamin C & B3, Ectoin, Extracts of Dendrobium Nobile, Aloe, Sophora, Goji and Echinacea. 

It has a sticky finish and provides good hold for foundation while having hydrating and brightening properties.
