Kaine Vegan Skincare
@skincarestationery Recently I was kindly sent a set of Kaine products to try and review. The set I received included: 🥦 Kaine Rosemary Relief Gel Cleanser: it has a light texture that lathers well and leaves skin feeling clean and moisturised. It uses gentle surfactants and Glycerin to avoid stripping the skin, plus Panthenol and Rosemary Extract to soothe. The addition of BHA makes it great for oily and breakout-prone skin like mine. I like how it is non-irritating and effective in cleansing the skin. It does have a very strong 'green' smell that I did not enjoy due to the Cabbage, Celery, Spinach, Broccoli, Cucumber and Lettuce extracts. 🍵 Kaine Kombu Balancing Ampoule Toner: it has a watery consistency that absorbs very fast while hydrating the skin. Notable ingredients include 60% Black Tea Ferment, Sugarcane and Cocoa Seed Extracts, 8 types of Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol at 1%, Allantoin, Beta-Glucan and Tocopherol. My skin feels soothed, hydrated and lightly moisturised and redness appears reduced when using this fragrance-free toner. 🍵 Kaine Kombu Barrier Ampoule: this lightweight ampoule has some viscosity to it, however, it absorbs quickly and gently moisturises the skin. Infused with 73% Kombucha (Black Tea Ferment), Panthenol at 5% and Ceramide Liposome at 1%, plus Cocoa Extract, 8 types of Hyaluronic Acid, Allantoin, Squalane, Tocopherol and Beta-Glucan. The ingredients are very similar to the Toner, but it feels more moisturising and leaves my skin feeling soft. It is non-sticky and layers well with other products. 🌿 Kaine Rosemary AHA Night Serum: it has a very light texture that absorbs immediately onto my skin. Infused with 9% Lactic Acid, 7% Rosemary Leaf Extract and 0.5% Succinic Acid; plus 3 Flower Extracts, 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid, Allantoin and Panthenol. It is fragrance free but does have a light smell to it, layers well under moisturiser and does not irritate my skin. The next morning my skin feels very smooth and looks more even, although quite oily. Texture also seems visibly improved even when used only 2 - 3 times a week. 🍄 Kaine Vegan Collagen Youth Cream: designed to provide long lasting moisture with 50% Snow Mushroom Extract, Vegan Collagen & 2% Niacinamide, plus Adenosine & Jojoba Oil Other notable ingredients include Cupuacu Seed Butter, Panthenol, 8 types of H.A, Cholesterol and Beta-Glucan. Despite all plant butter and oil, the texture of this cream is extremely lightweight, almost like a lotion and sinks beautifully into the skin. It is non-greasy, layers well under sunscreen and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. I would say it is ideal for oily skin. Love the frosted glass and matching plastic packaging of these products. I also find the minimal branding very appealing. After a couple of weeks using these products I found my texture improved although it did feel a bit tight and believe the cream may not be nourishing enough when using exfoliating products like the AHA Serum. Overall, a beautiful skincare range that I would definitely recommend, especially if you have oily skin. I like how it is non-irritating and effective in cleansing the skin. It does have a very strong 'green' smell that I did not enjoy due to the Cabbage, Celery, Spinach, Broccoli, Cucumber and Lettuce extracts.

Kaine Kombu Balancing Ampoule Toner: it has a watery consistency that absorbs very fast while hydrating the skin.

I did not suffer any major breakouts while using these products. Any breakouts I did get healed very fast and hyperpigmentation from them also faded much quicker.

Overall, a beautiful skincare range that I would definitely recommend, especially if you have oily skin.
