Recently I received a set of 3 isntree sunscreens from Picky to test and review:

Hyaluronic Acid Daily Sun Gel SPF 30 PA+++

It features 10 types of Hyaluronic Acid and Beta-Glucan for a hydrating formula, as well as Niacinamide; plus soothing Sodium Palmitoyl Proline, Ectoin, Centella Asiatica, Nymphaea Alba Flower and Houttuynia Cordata Extracts; as well as Portulaca Oleracea Extract and Adenosine for anti-ageing effects.

This Sun Gel has a lightweight consistency that gently moisturises the skin without feeling greasy. It is fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin. It layers well with other products and does not irritate my skin.

Onion Newpair Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++

This non-comedogenic sunscreen is designed with blemish-prone skin in mind. It contains Onion Bulb Extract and Multi Vita Complex (Vitamins B3, B5, E and K) to soothe breakouts and to promote a brighter and even complexion.

It also contains mattifying Kaolin, collagen-stimulating Adenosine, soothing Allantoin and Glycoproteins to provide a blurring effect.

This sunscreen is lightweight and features a purple tint that blends seamlessly onto the skin to brighten it and neutralise yellow undertones. It doesn't feel heavy nor it caused any redness or breakouts. It also improves the look of texture and layers well with other products.

It is free from artificial fragrance however it does have a natural sweet scent that is not overpowering and does not linger.

Yam Root Milk Tone Up Sun Cream SPF 50 PA++++

This sunscreen features a foundation effect, non-drying finish and skin barrier protection, and is formulated with Andong Yam Root Extract plus 5% Panthenol to provide moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.

Other notable ingredients include Niacinamide, and Vegan Milk Complex (rice, bean and oats extracts) for a moisturising and firming effect; plus Hyaluronic Acid, Adenosine and Vitamin E.

It uses physical filters Zinc and Titanium Dioxide, which are known to leave a white cast. To avoid that, the product is tinted to provide a tone-up finish.

As I don't usually wear foundation I like to apply this sunscreen over a non-tinted one. Something that I really like about it is that it helps even out my skin tone while also filling out small to medium-sized pores which give the appearance of smoother looking skin,

The tone is a bit light for me however, only a small amount is needed for a brighter, more even look to the skin. It blends well and makes my skin look less oily. It would be nice to have this in more shades.

All 3 sunscreens feature the classic isntree leaf design on the front of the box and tube. I like the minimal-design and colour-coded packaging as it makes it quick and easy to identify which product you want to use.

They all come packaged in a recycled paper box made from discarded green tea and printed with soy ink which allows easier paper recycling.

Have you tried isntree sunscreens?
