The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm

A few days ago I received the new Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm by The Inkey List. 

This Plumping Lip Balm is "clinically proven to plump lips by up to 40% in 4 weeks" which sounds promising!

It contains:

• 6% Tripeptide Complex (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38) to boost collagen production
• Ultra Filling Spheres with Hyaluronic Acid for an instant plumping effect
• A blend of Fatty Acids and Plant Oils to reduce TEWL, nourish and soften

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Hydroxystearic/Linolenic/Oleic Polyglycerides, Glyceryl Rosinate, Theobroma Grandiflorum (Cupuaçu) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Candelilla Cera, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Orbignya Oleifera (Babassu) Seed Oil, Squalane, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Hydrogenated Olive Oil, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Behenate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil Unsaponifiables, Tribehenin, Sorbitan Isostearate, Tocopherol, Portulaca Pilosa Extract, Trihydroxystearin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Sucrose Cocoate, Brassica Alba Sprout Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Glucomannan.

The instructions do mention that it needs to be used daily, at least 3 times per day, however only a small amount is needed so it will still last a long time even with constant usage. 

I've only been using it for 5 days and I believe I can feel some increase in the volume of my lips already when I press them together. 

The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm leaves my lips feeling moisturised and looking smoother and supple instantly. It has a natural sheen and it is fragrance and colour free.

I would love to see tinted versions of this product and can't wait to compare my results in a few weeks time!
