A few weeks ago I actually wrote my first impressions about the Garnier Organic Lemongrass Detox Gel Wash, however they have changed after using the wash for longer.
This cleanser is designed for normal to combination skin, and contains Organic Lemongrass Essential Oil from Sri Lanka and Organic Cornflower Water, and has no animal derived ingredients or by-products in the formula. The lemongrass gives it a fresh scent that I enjoy but it might not be suitable for sensitive skin types.
As I mentioned before, it is quite hydrating (with sucrose as the 2nd ingredient and glycerin being the 4th ingredient in the list) and doesn't feature any harsh surfactants, opting for coco-betaine and coco-glucoside, known for being milder and less foaming. It also contains salicylic acid (as a preservative, I believe) however it retains antibacterial properties which might be helping in reducing breakouts.
The Garnier Organic Lemongrass Detox Gel Wash cleanses well, leaves my skin feeling soft and never dry or tight, plus it has oil reducing, antioxidant and antibacterial benefits thanks to the use of Lemongrass Essential Oil, as well as anti-inflammatory properties because of the use of Cornflower Water.
I'm nearly halfway through the full sized bottle and I think that it is a product I would purchase again in the future (it's quite affordable too, especially on offer).
