Cosy and Casual Outfits at Femme Luxe

The lovely people at Femme Luxe kindly sent me a couple of items to style for the blog. This time I chose some pieces that I thought would make really nice casual outfits and are also great for working from home as they are very comfortable.

The first outfit features a pair of the Lizzie Joggers in pink, which I love the pastel colour of. They have some very handy pockets on both sides and a drawstring that is hidden on the inside of the waistband so you can adjust them to a smaller or bigger waist. Speaking of waists, the Lizzie joggers are also high waisted so they look great with a cropped top or jacket, or with any other top tucked into them. 

Because they are so roomy, these joggers are super comfortable and great for lounging, traveling long haul and even sleeping (which I haven't tried but might do soon, ha!), and not only that but they are fluffy on the inside so these joggers are also excellent at keeping my legs warm which is extremely convenient when I've had to go out the house for any reason as I don't have to pile on the layers to keep warm. 

In the first outfit I paired the Lizzie Joggers with a lightweight but warm H&M alpaca wool jumper with a mockneck in a light grey colour and a pair of Fila Disuruptor II trainers in white to match the light colour palette on the garments. For accessories I chose a pair of simple but elegant pair of pearl stud earrings and a pearl hair clip to match the earrings. On my lips is the Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Balm in Poppy for a touch of colour. 

The second thing I chose from Femme Luxe is actually a two piece set: the Suzi Co-ord in Jade Green. This set has a ribbed textured fabric on both pieces, which includes a cropped short sleeve fitted top and high waisted bell bottom style trousers. 

What I really like about this set is definitely the beautiful green shade and also the trousers, which are very flattering with their high waist, and also because of the leg shape as they are great for wearing with heels or platforms, which become hidden under the length of the trousers and can really elongate the legs. 

As it consists of two pieces, the Suzi co-ord set can also be styled separately into different outfits: the crop top is a nice layering piece so if you don't feel too comfortable with showing your midriff you can always wear a contrasting cardigan on top. The trousers could be worn, as mentioned above, with heels or platforms to make you look super tall, and to adapt it for fall and winter a nice cosy jumper would look amazing with it - perfect for the holidays. Also because of the high waist, when worn with a top that covers the very top of the trousers, it would make them look like a jumpsuit, so it is a hard-working set too with the amount of looks that can be achieved!

For this outfit I kept it simple with just a pair of heart shaped dangle earrings and the same white Fila Disruptor II trainers in a contrasting white colour to keep the casual vibes consistent.
