A couple of weeks ago I was some new releases from bareMinerals by Escentual.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Highlighting Blush in Peach Glow: it gives a 'lit-from-within glow' and  delivers a subtle highlight with a hint of a warm, peach blush.  

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Blonzer: formulated to warm up the complexion with a radiant rosy-bronze glow, it gives a sun-kissed look instantly, minus the UV exposure or any self-tan disasters. 

Both products have a hydrating gel-cream texture infused with Hyaluronic Acid and help reduce the look of imperfections thanks to skin-smoothing HydraBlur Complex. 

While the product may look very dark in the packaging, it actually goes on quite sheer and looks very natural on the skin. Even though they are some of the darker shades in the range, as they blend with ease, the result is impeccably natural-looking, which I love!

They're both so pretty but my favourite has to be the Highlighting Blush as I have been recently very into blush and usually go for a less bronzed look, but would love to try the more pink-toned Blonzer shades (Kiss of Mauve, Rose & Pink) and the Highlighting Blush in Mauve Glow as well!

Wild Refillable Deodorant & Lip Balm

Very happy to announce that I am now a Wild ambassador!

They kindly sent me a refillable deodorant case with Fresh Cotton & Sea Salt and Coconut & Vanilla refills and the refillable lip balm case with a Coconut & Vanilla refill. 

I received the limited edition Emma Bridgewater bee case and the pink lip balm case - they're both so cute.

I'm currently using the Coconut & Vanilla scent on both the deodorant and lip balm and I am really enjoying them.

The fragrance is slightly warm and sweet, truly delectable. The deodorant keeps me smelling sweet all day and the lip balm reminds me of a blue Lip Smackers lip balm I used to have when I was about 14-15 🥰 takes me right back, I'm obsessed!

Kaine Ultimate Cleansing Duo

Kaine kindly gifted me a set of their new cleansers in the Kombucha line to test and review!

I received the Kombu Jelly Oil Cleanser and the Kombu Hydrating Daily Cleanser, designed to be used together in a double cleanse system.

The Kombu Jelly Oil Cleanser features a tri-phase texture which starts off as Jelly, then turns into Oil as it is massaged in, and finally transforms into Milk when water is added. 

Notable ingredients include Kaolin, Oils of Jojoba, Sunflower and Corn Germ, Kombucha. Centella Extract, and Ceramide NP. 

The texture is quite lightweight despite containing several oils, and melts into the skin easily. After emulsifying with water, makeup is effectively removed without leaving my skin dry. I find it a bit hard to remove completely so a second cleanse is definitely needed.

The Kombu Hydrating Daily Cleanser uses ultra-gentle surfactants to avoid drying out the skin, making it suitable for daily usage. 

It contains Camellia Leaf Powder, Allantoin, 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid, Kombucha and Ceramide NP. 

This cleanser has a jelly texture with green tea flakes to gently exfoliate the skin. It lathers well and rinses off easily without causing dryness to my skin. Only a small amount is needed, otherwise it becomes slimy and hard to use.

Overall, a great duo for gentle cleansing and hydrated skin!

Coxir Brown Rice Niacinamide Peeling Mist

As part of my collaboration with coxir I received the Brown Rice Niacinamide Peeling Mist to test and review. 

This face mist is infused with Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, AHA & BHA to help exfoliate the skin without irritation. 

Other notable ingredients include Centella Asiatica Extract, Allantoin, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Extracts of Pumpkin, Guava, Acerola Fruit, Edelweiss and Aloe; plus Hydrolysed Collagen, Arginine and Rose Water. 

I really like the packaging, featuring a frosted plastic bottle and a wide pump which makes it very easy to use. The mist is also quite fine so it is evenly distributed over the skin, something that I appreciate. 

It doesn't really have a perceivable scent and leaves my skin feeling refreshed, smooth and hydrated without any stickiness. 

As it is an exfoliating product it is best to avoid too frequent usage, so only a couple of times a week will suffice, this will make the 80ml bottle go a long way.

Coxir Black Rice TXA Pore Purifying Mask

As part of my collaboration with coxir I received the coxir Black Rice TXA Pore Purifying Mask to test and review. 

This mask is infused with Black Rice, Tranexamic Acid and Charcoal and promises to control sebum and provide glass-looking skin.

Other notable ingredients include: Glycerin, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Panthenol, Sesame Seed Extract, Black Soybean Extract, and Extracts of Mandarin, Ivy, Bergamot and Blackcurrant.

The Coxir Black Rice TXA Mask has a light consistency that spreads easily on the skin. The charcoal gives it a black tone but it does not stain the skin. It washes off easily and leaves my skin feeling very soft, moisturised and my pores looking clearer.

The best thing about this mask is that it can be rinsed off after only 1-2 minutes, which makes it super practical!

Always Infinity

I received a pack of Always Infinity size 2 to test and review. 

It is designed with SmartFoam to absorb 10x its weight, be super thin and light so you barely feel it, and with micro holes and channels to pull liquid down for a dry feeling and to protect from leakage. 

These pads truly are super absorbent and forgot I was wearing them when turning in the middle of the night (IYKYK) as they are very light!

They are very comfortable to wear. The perforated design did make me a bit nervous, however, there were no leaks at all, and it helped drain fluid down to the base of the pad, keeping the top dry and fresh. 

The only downside was that as they are so absorbent and drying I felt like they also stripped moisture from my skin which wasn't ideal but for heavier days I will definitely be using these.

Moschino Toy 2 Pearl EDP

As a member of the Superdrug Community I received a bottle of Moschino Toy 2 Pearl EDP to test and review. 

Inspired by the Tahitian mother of pearl, this genderless fragrance is designed to stimulate sensations of joy and energy on its wearer. 

Moschino Toy 2 Pearl EDP comprises the following notes:

🍋 Top: Lemon Heart, Oregano, Lemon Sorbet

🏖️ Heart: Jasmine, Sand, Freesia

🪵 Base: Vetiver, Cypress, Musk

This fragrance opens with a zesty hit of lemon accord, which awakens with its tangy and refreshing aroma, while Oregano provides a bit of depth. 

Just moments later, the Sand note is perceivable, providing a salty oceanic touch. Sadly this note overpowers the Jasmine and Freesia which are quite hard to identify when I use it.

At dry down it transforms into a woody, comforting embrace with notes of Vetiver and Cypress. Thankfully I don't get much of the Musk (it is not my favourite note in perfumery), while the salty Sand note prevails throughout.

I really like the bottle, it is very cute and playful, and I love the iridescent finish which is reminiscent of mother of pearl.

Overall, a great summer fragrance for those who are not into sweet-smelling perfumes and want to be reminded of the beach!

Coxir Ultra Hyaluronic Cleansing Oil

As part of my collaboration with Coxir I received the Coxir Ultra Hyaluronic Cleansing Oil, which is formulated to remove makeup and blackheads thanks to Canola, Rosehip and Camellia Oils.

Other notable ingredients include Extracts of Lemon, Tea Tree, Acerola, Blueberry, Grape, Sweet Cherry, Aloe, Edelweiss, Pear, Melon and Ivy; as well as Hyaluronic Acid and Rose Water. 

The texture is very light and watery, easy to use and rinse off. It removes makeup and sunscreen efficiently and leaves my skin feeling very soft after using. It also helps my pores also look clearer.

It does contain fragrance but it is barely noticeable. 

The packaging is cute and also the perfect size for traveling. The only downside is that the pump does not lock so do keep the stopper to avoid spillage. 

Overall, a great cleansing oil that will work for all skin types.

Last week I received the cutest PR package from Alya Skin. It contained a headband, a washbag and the new Miracle Moisture and The Calmer Serum.

I love the citrus, slightly peppery scent, the nourishing texture and how it leaves my skin looking glowing while reducing redness. 

The Miracle MoistureMiracle Moisture is a moisturiser designed to reduce redness and sensitivity, intensely hydrate, plump the skin, strengthen the skin barrier and maintain a healthy microbiome. 

Formulated with Polyglutamic Acid (4x stronger than Hyaluronic Acid), Dermabiotics (probiotics), SuperOx C from Australian Kakadu Plum, Kombucha Extract, Sweet Almond and Macadamia Seed Oils.

This moisturiser has a gel-like texture that glides on the skin and features a fruity-floral scent. It keeps my skin moisturised all day long with a natural glow. 

Both products are Kind to Biome certified which makes them skin microbiome friendly. I did not experience any irritation or major breakouts while using these products. 

I think both The Calmer Serum and Miracle Moisture would be ideal for dry skin year round, and for night time and/or colder months for oilier skin types.

I received the Aussie SOS Super Serum to test and review. 

This All-in-one Leave-in treatment is formulated to provide 100 hours of hydration vs shampoo alone. It also promises to smooth & soften, detangle, control frizz & fly-aways, prevent split ends, protect from daily wear 'n tear, and add shine. 

It contains Paraffinum Liquidum and Macadamia Seed Oil, however, it does not feel heavy or greasy. Other notable ingredients include Wild Strawberry Extract and Vitamin E. 

This serum has a gel-cream texture that melts into a liquid on contact with the hands and is spread easily all over the hair.

It has a sweet, fruity aroma which I like and does not linger while leaving my hair feeling very soft, with reduced frizz and increased shine.

Fairy Silk Tree Blossom & Jasmine

Last month I received the Fairy Silk Tree Blossom & Jasmine collection to test and review:

Fairy Non Bio Platinum Pods
The pods have an overwhelming smell when opening the box but it mellows down as only one is used per load. My clothes look clean and smell nice. 

Fairy Fresh Fabric Softener
This leaves my clothes soft and with a lovely scent that lasts even days after washing. I really like this fragrance as it is not overpowering. Only a small amount is needed, otherwise fabric can feel a bit heavy.

Fairy In-Wash Scent Boosters
I love that this can be used to prolong the scent of my laundry. Love the fragrance of this range, it is soft, floral, slightly sweet and also comforting. Great for bedding. 

I really enjoyed the scent of this range and how quick and easy they are to use.
