(Similar: Coat, Scarf, Jumper, Bag)

Cashmere, wool and mohair, just the right fabric materials you need to keep warm and cosy during the winter. If you have never tried anything cashmere, I really think you should give it a try as it is the softest and warmest natural material you can think of to use during the colder months. It adds a touch of luxury to your outfit and you can find it in a range of different garments and prices, from gloves and scarves to jumpers and even coats. Tesco, Uniqlo and H&M have quite affordable cashmere options, especially when on sale.

Vaseline Hand & Lips Gift Set

Vaseline intensive care rosy lips
The Vaseline Hand & Lips set is one of the gifts I received for Christmas. The set includes the Vaseline Petroleum Jelly in Rosy Lips and the Intensive Care Hand Cream. I had used the Vaseline Intensive Care Hand Cream before when trying to stop my hands from peeling so much (I discovered the cause and they've stopped now). It has a light, non greasy texture and absorbs quickly which is nice.

What I was really interested in trying was the lip balm. As the name Rosy Lips suggests, it offers a very light and natural looking tint to the lips, smoothes out any dry skin and makes lips look glossy without being sticky. This petroleum jelly improves the look of lips in just a few seconds thanks to the rose flower and almond oil but I don't think it has deeply nourishing properties that would fix very dry or chapped lips.

Find the Vaseline Intensive Hand Cream and Rosy Lips Balm in Superdrug and Boots.

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Cherry Pop

Clinique Cherry Pop Lipstick
With the December edition of Glamour magazine, I got the Clinique Cherry Pop Lipstick. There was also a nude shade but I went for the red one as I'd been getting into red lips during the summer.

The Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer claims to glide on effortlessly to a modern-velvet finish with colour that stays true and keeps lips comfortably moisturized for 8 hours.

What I like about the Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Cherry Pop is that it provides a nice and bright red colour to the lips. What I don't like about it is that it makes my lips feel dry, you have to be really careful when applying because it stains and as the colour fades it looks more of a bright pink than red.

Find the Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Boots.

Absolutely love this h&m cashmere scarf, it is the softest and warmest ever! Wouldn't mind it being a tiny bit bigger but otherwise it is perfect.
In other news: it's friday! and I wore my David Bowie t-shirt to work today ♥
Have a nice weekend!

Garnier Ultimate Blends Delicate Soother

Garnier Ultimate Blends Delicate Soother
Some shampoos can be very drying on my scalp and can make it itchy or result in dry skin as well, which is why I look for shampoos with gentle cleansers in the ingredients. Garnier just came out with a new ultimate blend for sensitive scalp & fragile hair, which I would really like to try as soon as I finish my current shampoo and conditioner.

The Garnier Ultimate Blends Delicate Soother promises calming and soothing the feel of a sensitive scalp and giving you gorgeous, touchably soft hair thanks to a unique blend enriched with delicate oat milk and rice cream that has a soft, creamy texture & delicate fragrance. "Itchy, sensitive scalps feel soothed and hair feels protected, and irresistibly soft to the touch. Shiny and intensely nourished, hair never looked so beautiful!"

Soul Love

At first I refused to believe it. I have no words to express how sad these news make me feel. I adored David Bowie and am heartbroken.

Night Skincare Routine

lierac luminescence
As the current weather is cold, skin can get dehydrated or feel dry and tight more easily, which is why I try to use products a bit more moisturising than I would in the summer. My night time skincare routine consists of the following products:

Good Things Manuka Honey Creamy Cleanser: I start off by cleansing with this creamy and hydrating product after removing my eye makeup with a micellar water. This cleanser does not foam up so if you only use foaming cleansers it might take a bit to take used to. It leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and moisturised.

Lierac Luminescence Illuminating Serum: This serum is meant to even out skin tone, diminish the look of pores, fade redness and dark spots. I have been using this serum for a few months now and can definitely confirm that it does fade redness. One of my favourite serums.

Origins Make a Difference+ Rejuvinating Moisturiser: To finish it off, I apply this anti aging moisturiser from Origins. It has a texture between a lotion and a cream, glides on easily, is absorbed fast and moisturises well, plus it smells like oranges.

What products are on your night skincare routine?

New in: November & December

ysl black opium
topshop cuddle leather clutch bag
white pj set
edward monkton notebook
dark chocolate brazil nuts
kellogs bath milk
simple kelloggs gift set
crabtree evelyn gift set
paris sticky notes

Because I didn't purchase many things in November, and it feels a bit too late to do a post about it, I've merged my November & December purchases, as well as my Christmas gifts, into one post.

For Christmas I received some money, 2 H&M gift cards, YSL Black Opium EDP, a David Bowie CD collection. Earrings, a Topshop leather clutch, Dove shower gift set, new pjs, slippers, dressing gown and microwaveable warmer.

A photo album, watercolours and brushes, colouring book and pencils, 2 agendas and a notebook. Also a cupcake shower cap, DIY crochet key rings, dark chocolate brazil nuts, mirror, hand sanitizer and a little toy rabbit.

Razors, shaving cream, bath sponge, Disney bauble with chocolates inside, bubble bath, shower gel and 2 sets of the Kellogg's bath duos. A Dove, Simple, Vaseline and Kelloggs gift sets, and socks.

Then in the sales I got a couple more gift sets from Boots with my points, so they were free: the Sanctuary Favourite Florals tin with shower gel, body lotion and scrub, and the Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream 2 set (as well as a gift for my husband, not pictured).

And given my love of stationery, I couldn't pass up the cutest pair of Moleskine notebooks from TK Maxx. And not one but two sets of Paris themed sticky notes from The Works.

Absolutely love everything I got for Christmas, I am obsessed with gift sets and I got all my shower gel and baths sorted for the whole year.

What did you get for Christmas?
